Travelling, exciting encounters and lively interest describe a preparation period of the DVD productio `Treading The Unknown´ `Treading The Unknown´. The intention of this project which I work on since 2001 is connecting contemporary dance from the Indian music centre Pune with my work as composer and interpreter. With my international ensemble we perform compositions, developed in an challenging dialogue with the famous Indian dancer Shama Bhate (Pune). The DVD contains approx. 65 minutes of the concert and additionally 24 minutes documentation of the working process including interviews of Shama Bhate and Don Thompson.
